Services

Six ways to finisha slab.

Every job starts the same way — we open the concrete up mechanically so the coating has something to key into. What goes on top is your call.

Garage Floor Coatings

Top-of-the-line, economical and low maintenance — the feel of an interior room you can drive on. We are in and out in one to three days so you can get back to using your garage.

  • Hot-tire resistant
  • Flake broadcast
  • 1–3 day install
  • Easy to sweep

Metallic Floor Coating

The high-end finish. Metallic pigments move through the topcoat as it cures, so the floor reads like poured stone and no two are the same. This is the one that turns a slab into the feature of the room.

  • One-of-a-kind finish
  • High gloss
  • Showrooms & shops
  • Custom color

Concrete Polishing

Grinding, densifying and honing the concrete itself to a smooth surface, stepping up through progressively finer diamond grits. No coating to peel — the floor is the finish.

  • Densified surface
  • Grit-stepped hone
  • Low maintenance
  • No topcoat
Stained concrete floor with mottled earth tones

Concrete Staining

The appearance of expensive flooring at a fraction of the cost. A durable, permanent stain that soaks into the slab rather than sitting on it, then gets sealed — elegant, and it asks very little of you afterwards.

  • Permanent color
  • Sealed finish
  • Interior or patio
  • Low upkeep

Concrete Overlays & Repairs

A polymerized, cement-based protective coating that goes over concrete, wood or tile. If the slab is tired rather than failed, an overlay gets you a like-new surface for a fraction of replacement.

  • Over concrete, wood or tile
  • Resurfacing
  • Crack repair
  • Like-new finish
Waterproof coating applied to an exterior deck surface

Waterproof Deck Coatings

Utah weather brings enough precipitation to be worth taking seriously. A waterproof coating seals the deck surface so water stops finding its way into the structure underneath.

  • Sealed surface
  • UV stable
  • Foot-traffic rated
  • Exterior rated

How it works

Three steps,no surprises.

  1. 01

    Walk the slab

We look at the actual concrete — moisture, cracks, oil, what it is going to be asked to do — then quote the system that suits it. Free, and no obligation.

  2. 02

    Grind and prep

We open the surface up mechanically rather than acid etching it, and repair what needs repairing. This is the step that decides whether a floor lasts a decade or a season.

  3. 03

    Coat and cure

Base coat, broadcast or pigment, then the topcoat that does the real work against tires, salt and UV. Most residential jobs are done in one to three days.

The Pro Basin Coatings family

Who you are hiring

A local outfit,not a franchise.

Pro Basin Coatings was founded by Tristin Cox, who grew up with deep roots in this community and still puts his own name on every job. He is a family man — married, with a young daughter — and he brings the same standard to a customer's garage that he would want in his own.

We use quality materials and proper mechanical prep, and we would rather tell you a slab needs repair first than coat over a problem.

Testimonials

What ourclients say.

Super happy with my garage floor!! A beautiful job. Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!
Wally Taylor
Tristin was great to work with. There was a small problem with the coating that was given to me for the floor (not his fault) and he went above and beyond to make sure everything came out amazing and find me another coating that did what I wanted. I would recommend him to anyone, and would use him again.
Mike Uhlinger

Lee Joseph
Tristin installed a custom floor in my new shop and it is as good as he said it would be. The quality of work is excellent and I can't wait for him to do my primary garage! Service was prompt and personal. Highly recommended!

Frequentlyasked questions.

How long does a garage floor coating take?

Most residential garages are a one to three day job, start to finish. Prep and grinding take the first day, coating follows, and then the floor needs cure time before you drive on it. We will give you the exact schedule when we quote the job.

Why does the floor need to be ground first?

A coating is only as good as the surface underneath it. Mechanically grinding the slab opens up a profile for the resin to key into, which is what stops peeling later. Acid etching is faster and far less reliable — we grind.

Will hot tires lift the coating?

Not with the right system. Hot tire pickup is what happens when a thin, consumer-grade coating is laid over unprepared concrete. Proper prep plus a topcoat rated for vehicle traffic is the combination that holds up.

My slab is cracked and stained. Is it too far gone?

Usually not. Cracks and surface damage get repaired as part of prep, and if the slab is tired rather than structurally failed, a concrete overlay can give you a like-new surface for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

What is the difference between polishing and a coating?

Polishing finishes the concrete itself — we grind, densify and hone the slab so the floor is the finish, with nothing on top that can peel. A coating adds a new resin surface over the concrete, which is what lets you choose flake, metallic or a solid color.

Do you work outside Beaver?
